Thank you so much to the wonderful Tay for tagging me to do this post! Autumn is such a lovely time of year so this tag sounds really fun! If you haven’t checked out Tay and her blog before, you definitely should – such a lovely lady who posts lots of brilliant things about lifestyle and babies! ๐๐
1. What is one candle you MUST light every fall?
I don’t really have a must-have candle for autumn but maybe something vanilla-ryย as it’s a warm and cosy scent.
2. When you think of fall, what does it remind you of?
Crunchy orange leaves on the ground and making sure that I step on them so they make a really satisfying noise ๐
3. What is your all-time favourite fall/Halloween movie?
Oooh, I love scary movies so there are so many that I’d watch, especially on Halloween. But the one that I watch with my mom every year, without fail, is Hocus Pocus!
4. What Halloween costume do you have in mind?
I don’t actually have plans for Halloween this year but I’ve been as many things in the past ๐ย Morticia Addams was my most recent costume but I’ve been a zombie, a cat and a witch but I always feel like a vampire is a good go-to.
5. What is your favourite fall trend?
Clothing-wise it has to be finally being able to wear my over the knee boots again! They’re not all that comfortable in summer and spring as it can be a bit warm but I love wearing them in autumn and winter.
6. When you think of fall what drink comes to mind?
A mocha! Winter is for hot chocolate so I’m not quite there yet ๐
7. What is your go-to fall beauty product? A must-have staple!
Moisturiser! I’m prone to dry skin when the weather starts to get colder so moisturiser is a must for me.
8. Do you prefer apple pie or pumpkin pie?
I’m not a pie fan really ๐ย They’re definitely not as popular in the UK as they are elsewhere but if I had to choose I’d say apple.
9. Do you have any fall traditions? If so tell us all about it!
In the UK we celebrate Bonfire Night (or Guy Fawkes Night) on 5th November to symbolise when Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the houses of Parliament in 1605 but failed. I guess this started off as a way to show the security of our government? Nowadays we just have a huge bonfire with loads of fireworks. This happens all over the UK but they also do it at my local park and almost every year I go with my friends so that we can have a catch-up and go on the fairground rides!
10. The moment of truth, is fall your favourite season?
Oooh, controversial here but I think that winter is my favourite season! It has Christmas and New Years and then when it’s over it means that my birthday is only a month or so away! ๐
What about you? I’d love to know all about your fall favourites and opinions! ๐๐

I love how many of us have to watch Hocus Pocus every year! Freeform is airing a 25th Anniversary special on October 20th in case you didn’t know and are interested! Apparently a lot of the cast and crew will be there to talk about the movie!

We donโt have that channel in the UK but Iโll keep an eye out for it on YouTube! The best Halloween film ever! ๐๐ป

I really enjoyed reading your answers to this tag, Hannah! I also associate fall with mocha and not quite hot chocolate and I do agree with you that winter is the best season ๐

Love this tag! I love Bonfire Night, although these days it’s more like a firework night since the health & safety rules mean we can’t have a bonfire where I’m from, which is a bit disappointing but understandable. I have to agree with you that winter is the best season. I’m so ready for the snow and all the Christmas decorations!

Iโm already planning my Christmas activities and meeting up with friends ๐๐ Iโm pretty sure they still have a bonfire near me but thereโs definitely lots of security/people keeping an eye out but I always loved the firework displays anyway ๐
