Mythology Re-telling Recommendations!

After getting the opportunity to study Greek and Roman mythology at university, I’ve been hooked. Since then I’ve just started to delve into the worlds of Norse, Celtic and Egyptian myth and am absolutely loving it!

If there’s one thing that can perhaps be even more satisfying that the actual myths themselves, it’s getting to re-read them with a modern or alternate twist. There’s been a real trend in the last few years or so of brings these classic tales to a contemporary audience so I thought why not compile a list of some of the ones I’ve come across just in case anyone is on the look out.

Just to note, I’ve included middle grade, YA and adult books as well as a graphic novel and a poetry anthology to add some variety. All books are linked to Goodreads for your convenience if something catches your interest 😊
