Today is a special day in my calendar as it means I’ve successfully completed another trip around the Sun… IT’S MY BIRTHDAY!! ๐ฅณ๐ฅณ
So, to mark the momentous occasion (hey, it only happens once a year!) of me turning the grand age of 24, I thought it would be fun to do a special birthday themed book tag ๐
Credit goes to the creator of this tag, Brunette Bibliophile over on booktube and I did find it on Anna’s Book Nook too!
Count your birth day along your bookshelf and then subtract your birth month. What book does it land on?
19-3 = The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes! I read this one for a Write Reads tour a little while ago and really enjoyed it, it was so well thought out. Can’t wait for the sequel!
If you could spend your birthday with any fictional character who would it be and why?
Such a difficult question! I’m sure this could change every year but currently it would be Alex Heck from Bad Habits by Flynn Meaney. She’s such a cool character and someone I feel like would plan you a pretty amazing birthday surprise!
Find a book that takes place in the season you were born in.
As Spring babies are the best babies (๐) a story that always makes me think of this season is The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. There’s nothing more Spring than new flowers blooming!

Find a book that is the colour of your birth stone.
Having a March birthday gives me the birthstone of aquamarine! The closest colour cover on my shelf right now is The Selection by Kiera Cass.
Is there a series with the same numbers of books as your age? If so, what is it?
Absolutely nothing sprang to my mind of having 24 books but after a bit of internet digging I discovered that the Tarzan series by Edgar Rice Burroughs has exactly that number! Maybe I should give them a try? ๐
Pick a book set in a time period, world, or country you would like to have been born in.
Oooh, if we ignore all of the downsides about going back in time, I’d have to say 14th century Rus (as seen in one of my all time favourite books, The Bear and the Nightingale). But only if I could be at least halfway as cool as Vasya!

Not tagging anyone for this but feel free to give a go when your birthday rolls around! ๐
You can always find me over on Twitter if youโd like to discuss this post (or any others that Iโve featured) in more detail ๐

Happy birthday!

Happy Birthday!! ๐ Iโm not sure who the creator is either, but Iโm glad you did the tag! I really need to read Inheritance Games, and Iโm actually reading the Bear and the Nightingale right now and Iโm loving it! Hope you have a lovely day!!๐ฅฐ
