Blogmas Day 12 – Guest Post: Affordable Gift Guide with Anna!

Hey guys! Welcome back to another day of Blogmas 2018 and it’s today we have a gift guide that for those special people in your life that works with any budget! Christmas can end up being an expensive time of year so here are some suggestions that won’t break the bank.

This post was guest written by the lovely Anna who is here to give you some affordable ideas for any last minute Christmas gifts! I know I’ll be using some of these! 🎄🎁

I feel like finding the perfect gift for someone is always a tricky mission and when the gifts need to be given for Christmas the mission becomes even trickier.

When you don’t want to spend a lot of money finding the perfect present for someone is a little bit difficult because you don’t want the person to think that you haven’t put enough effort for his present and that is why I am writing this post – to give you some examples of affordable gifts that hopefully, everyone will love.

Gadgets:Attachment

If you are going to give a small gift to someone who loves to read, giving him or her a special bookmark or some gadgets to improve their reading experience will 100% make them happier. Just like the one in the image (>). You can personalise this gift by design, choosing something that matches the likes of the person receiving the gift. You can find some amazing ones here or a truly beautiful one here.

Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Instant Camera is the perfect gift for someone who enjoys taking photos. This one is a nice alternative to the old fancy Polaroid cameras so the one who is receiving this gift will have the opportunity to make some memories that will last forever. It comes in a lot of colours so you will have where to choose. You can find a nice one here.

A nice pair of headphones and an earphone organizer. I don’t even remember how Attachment_3many times I’ve lost my earphones or how many minutes I’ve spent trying to untangle them. If you have a friend that has the same problem as I do, this little thing will help him/her a lot and they will be forever grateful. If you want to truly help them, nice and affordable Bluetooth headphones will be even more appreciated. The ones from Tribit (>) are only 29.99 $ (about £23).

Functional Gifts:

Attachment_2Have any friends who would like to carry around a nice stainless steel water bottle? I know I would love to! This one is so beautiful and the nice thing about it is that it will maintain your drink temperature so on a cold winter a hot tea is all you could wish to always have with you.

Personal Gifts:

Attachment_4If you’re looking for something more personal, a Christmas basket full of goodies is a great choice. If you don’t find an already made one just buy a nice simple basket, some ribbons and Christmas decorations and fill it up with chocolate, candies and some wine of course. It will be even more appreciated if it is going to be handmade and in the end let’s be honest, almost everyone likes chocolate and wine, and in case you have a friend that doesn’t, the best part about it is that you can fill the basket up with everyone’s preferences.

I really hope you got some inspiration from my ideas and let us know in the comments what are your go-to affordable gifts?

So, what did you think? I hope this gave you some ideas for any Christmas presents you have yet to buy! Personally, I’m a huge fan of the basket of gifts as it’s a brilliant way to put together someone’s favourite things and really show them that you know them and want to bring a smile to their face 😊 Headphones are on my Christmas wishlist this year and, as Anna said, they’re a wonderful gift for anyone who spends a lot of time listening to music or podcasts, or who works on the computer a lot! Which, let’s face it, is most of us 😂

Thank you for checking out my Blogmas 2018 posts and I can’t wait to share the rest with you! Check back tomorrow for more festive fun 🎅🏻

I’d also just like to point out that I don’t want to cause any offence to those who don’t celebrate Christmas, these posts are just a bit of fun to go along with my own personal celebrations.

You can always find me over on Instagram and Twitter if you fancy a book (or Christmas) chat! 😌🎄
